In 2023, the discussion of AI in earnings calls significantly increased, with mentions in nearly 80% of all Fortune 500 companies, totaling 394. This is a notable rise from the 266 mentions in 2022. Over the past five years, AI has become an increasingly central topic in the corporate world, nearly doubling its presence in Fortune 500 earnings discussions since 2018.
