❗Long work anniversary post ahead! Exactly a year ago, I joined Sunly. As I have written before, for me it was all new - new field, a very business-oriented environment, and a growing organization. It was also a much-anticipated change I had been craving for a long time. 💡 A couple of highlights? ☀ Sunly's culture. When we started last summer, together with Mari Sepp and Annika Arras, Eva-Maria Kangro, and Khris-Marii Palksaar from Miltton New Nordics, to renew Sunly’s values and map out our culture, I had no idea how it would go. Would people be happy to participate? Would I need to persuade our CEO, Priit, about the importance of strong values? How much time would it take? Today, 9 months later, we have definitely moved forward. Not only do we now have our three values - Synergy, Curiosity, and Courage - on which we can build much more, but we have also implemented these values into our daily work. We are not nearly finished with creating our culture, but there is a strong will to create this inspiring workplace where the skills and talents of our people are highlighted. ♦ Card game. Yes, I made a card game. Most people today are likely familiar with the concept of conversation cards. Well, I made Sunly conversation cards based on our values. I was inspired by our Voice of Employees results, where people wrote very honestly about their dilemmas in their daily work life. I wanted to hear more, and I wanted them to speak more! This has been a surprisingly successful project that has gained a lot of positive feedback. Workshops for teams wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for Kaire Papp, our Learning and Development specialist. ✅ Creating more synergy between different Sunly offices and taking the first steps for a more coherent external view of Sunly. As we are in a dynamic business, a lot can change in the blink of an eye. So, why bother with strategies and plans? Because even if there are strong winds outside, we have some kind of roadmap for how to act in different situations. This is why we are working very hard on renewing our brand and focusing more united external communication strategy. 👩💼 👨💼 Main highlight is still people. Yes, sure, there are struggles in every growth company, but Sunly has gathered soooo much talent that I am confident we can move past these challenges. I am most thankful for Mari and Tiina-Mall Vannastu and their teams. It is not that we agree with each other all the time, but there is goodwill behind our relationships where I truly feel we want one another to succeed. Moreover, we want Sunly to succeed. Same goes also for many other teams who do their work with passion and curiosity. Of course, Priit Lepasepp himself. I am so grateful for the trust he has had in the projects we have done. Many fruitful discussions during the year have definitely changed the way we do things at Sunly. Want to know what I learn about myself during this year? Second part coming up ⏰

Let’s celebrate Josh Sanchez’s three-year work anniversary with some of his key takeaways! 🥳 ‘There is Power in Community - For me having a strong community at work is what breeds true inclusivity and belonging. These communities have the ability to make you feel empowered and seen. What a beautiful thing to feel at work. If you have a Vision, Take Ownership - Have a vision? Own it and run with it because that’s when a vision can become your reality. Curiosity is an underestimated trait - It’s helped me understand my clients better and see how pieces of our business work together. It’s helped me empathize with others as I’ve gained an understanding of their perspective. It’s led me on a journey of learning as I’ve sought out new knowledge. I’m starting to think the saying “Curiosity killed the cat” was a scare tactic.’ What’s your top takeaway from your time at LinkedIn? 🌟 #LinkedInLife

Dynamic Territory Manager | Driving Revenue Growth and Client Success through Strategic Leadership and Exceptional Relationship Building
🥳Celebrating One Year Anniversary Post🥳 As I reflect on this milestone, I wanted to share some insights I've gained about myself over the past year. These lessons are especially for those just beginning their journey in the workforce, for those looking to rekindle their passion, and for young black women, navigating corporate America. 1. YOU BELONG: If you're in the room, it's because you deserve to be there. Trust that you are meant to be where you are. 2. YOU’RE AN INNOVATOR: You're not just an "idea fairy." You have the determination and resilience to bring your ideas to life. 3. PRIORITIZE SELF-CARE: It's crucial to find ways to energize yourself outside of work. When you pour into yourself, you can pour into others. Remember, it's a life-work balance, not the other way around. 4. EMBRACE THE SHIFT: Be willing to adjust your approach for better understanding and growth. Shifting is about evolving for yourself, not for others. It's about navigating the journey, not changing who you are. 5. YOU ARE VALUABLE: Your experiences leading up to this point have been a curation of specifics that make you valuable. No one else can bring or express your perspective in the same way you do. Get comfortable with articulating and showcasing that value! 5. DO IT ALL WITH A SMILE: Even on challenging days, keep smiling. Be the bright spot in your environment, and let your positivity shine through. Here's to the journey, the growth, and the lessons learned! Happy anniversary to me!🫶🏾 #CareerAnniversary #CorporateJourney #PersonalGrowth #EarlyCareerProfessional #BlackWomenInCorporate #Inspiration #LifeLessons #WorkforceJourney #SelfReflection #CelebratingSuccess #ProfessionalDevelopment #KeepGrowing #StayInspired

Empowering Introverted Female Solopreneurs 40+ and Corporate Mid-Senior Leaders to achieve Confidence Exec Presence, Positioning and Profit Using The Aligned Introvert Method ®/Coach/Keynote Speaker/Trainer/Facilitator
Vanity versus Validity... turning noise into choice For Friday celebrations I am celebrating keeping my #LinkedinCommunityTopVoice badges. You hear a lot about "don't chase Vanity Metrics (Vanity metrics are metrics that make you look good to others but do not help you understand your performance in a way that informs future strategies.)" or "Don't seek external validation (recognition or affirmation that a person or their feelings or opinions are valid or worthwhile)" Many times I believe that these statements cause people to feel "Damned if you do or damned if you don't". So many just don't know what to pay attention to anymore and this keeps them stuck. As an introvert coach, I pay attention to things that can impact introverts and try to provide strategies and a different approach. My approach here is that vanity metrics matter, and external validation matter, but, it is about 💡 How they matter to you 💡 What strategies you can apply them to 💡 What outcomes you can plan to get from them Let me share what I mean... I wasn't even aware that Top Community Badge existed when I got the prompt last year that I had been awarded a badge. At first, I thought it was just a vanity thing, who cares about it or needs external validation? But... I decided to check how they were awarding the badges and why. I realised that it was about: ✳ Recognising valuable contributions to thought leadership conversations. ✳ Collaborating with content providers on LinkedIn to bring value I decided well I didn't mind being vain, but I was also now going to be intentional about using it for validation of my: ❇ Expertise ❇ Valuable contribution to thought leadership conversations ❇ Engagement with topics in my area specialism Executive Business and Leadership Coaching and training ❇ Continous Professional Development ▶ In the end, it's about stepping away from the noise intentionally and turning your actions into choices that help you achieve clearly defined and articulated goals. This applies to putting yourself forward for awards, recognitions, etc. ❓ Ask yourself and reflect on your end goals and how actions, resources opportunities will help you accomplish them. Happy Friday. Let's Celebrate some wins today, feel free to share your wins. #fridaycelebrations #introvertcoach #metrics #coaching _______ I am Patience Ogunbona (#thevisionaryintrovertedwoman) I typically work with introverted women 40+ who feel unfulfilled and doubt their self-worth, empowering you to unleash your inner drive, develop quiet confidence, and harness your strengths to build an aligned business and achieve holistic success. As I approach my one-year anniversary at NewGen IT Technologies Pvt Ltd, formerly VCARE InfoTech Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd, I find myself reflecting deeply. It’s disheartening to see some former colleagues, who were once part of our company, now spreading unfounded rumors after leaving a few months ago. They should recognize that our company provided them ample opportunities for growth, both monetarily and in terms of promotion, opportunities they did not receive in their previous workplaces. There's a saying that resonates deeply with this situation: "People often criticize what they once cherished." It’s clear to me now why this occurs, but it prompts me to question: What do they gain by damaging their own integrity? They left the company under the influence of a former employee who was dismissed by management for poor performance, unethical behavior, and causing significant financial losses to the company. So why propagate such false feedback about a company that once belonged to them as well? Their behavior is truly questionable. If there are genuine concerns, why resort to hiding behind fake identities (including the company's name and their own) to voice them? Valid grievances deserve transparent discussion. Instead of diminishing their credibility, they should pinpoint where improvements are needed and seek resolution openly. Leaving a company should signify personal growth and encourage the same for others. Let’s foster constructive dialogue and leave groundless accusations behind.
