Educational support programs for all ESG related needs, including courses, training, consultancy, coaching, business management, and investment advisory
In this session, 70% of the attendees were the PhD holders, this meeting was highly intellectual. Honestly, ESG integration is a highly challenging topic, this is why all my training courses in the past, I had underestimated the degree of intelligibility - a lot of the participants had a tough time following. This time, I truly enjoyed, enjoying these highly intellectual audiences. Nonetheless, I need to design all my courses with at least 50% interaction time, with plenty of case study time to accommodate those who can't be too academic. #esg #esgtraining #esgcourse #sustainability #sustainabledevelopment #sustainablefinance

🌍 Advocate for Sustainable Solutions | Business Analytics & Strategy | Sustainable Finance & ESG | CFA ESG Investing | NEIII Fellow
In a world where sustainability is becoming the new normal... our careers are taking on a whole new dimension. Every job now carries a bit of a superhero cape, with the power to make a difference in environmental and social domains. A while back, I was looking forward to contributing to sustainability with my strategic management and business administration background, going beyond citizen science. Luckily, I got an amazing opportunity to pursue a Joint Degree Master's of Science in Sustainable Development at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz and Leipzig University. These years have been quite an enriching experience, reshaping how I saw the world and my role in it. It's amazing to see more individuals entering the sustainability domain, waking up to the challenges and possibilities in our economy, society, and environment. And naturally, that's shaking up the job market too. As I got deeper into ESG and sustainable finance, I decided to obtain the CFA-accredited ESG Investing Certificate. It was totally worth it for the insights it gave me into the whole ecosystem. But what if you're curious about these topics but not sure if you need them for your current endeavours? Let me point you towards the "Introduction to Sustainable Finance" Course from the One United Nations Climate Change Learning Partnership. I took it out of curiosity and was quite impressed with the extent of material it covers. It's a solid starting point, whether you're considering a career shift or just want to level up your knowledge. And hey, companies should really think about adding these kinds of courses to their learning and development programs. With the demand for upskilling on the rise, it's a win-win for everyone! Here are a few more courses to consider: 🔹 Introduction to Sustainable Finance Taxonomies 🔹 The Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee 🔹 Indicators for an Inclusive Green Economy 🔹 Climate Policy and Public Finance & more to choose from. You're welcome to share any links and sources you found particularly helpful on your journey in the comments. #sustainability #parisagreement #upskilling #selfdevelopment #ESG #sustainabilityjourney #finance

My key takeaways: 🌌 ESG isn't about pointing fingers or stifling progress; it’s a collective goal for humanity to continue to pursue quality life indefinitely. 💭 Embracing diverse knowledge and experiences enriches us all. 💖 Kind authenticity and purposeful patience are critical skills for happiness. Intriguing perspective from Harvard Business Review contributors Magali (Maggie) Delmas and Brad Sparks on why it’s time to include sustainability in business school curricula. I agree that business schools must be enablers of the sustainability transition and encourage all graduates to understand that sustainability is hugely important. What is an essential sustainability lesson newly minted MBAs should take away with them at graduation? https://lnkd.in/gYQ-danh #sustainability #betterbusiness #environment

This exactly: "Moreover, the curriculum needs to break down the silos between disciplines. For instance, there’s a critical need for a common language between sustainability experts and accountants, who currently operate on different wavelengths. Sustainability practitioners understand how to measure carbon footprints but may be unfamiliar with internal control frameworks. Accountants aren’t trained in carbon footprint methodologies and must depend on sustainability experts. These disconnects extend to finance departments, where CFOs bear responsibility for disclosed carbon data but may not grasp nuances of its collection or differences between models. Such integration is crucial for professionals, including CFOs and their staff, who are increasingly responsible for disclosed carbon data but often lack deep understanding of its nuances. CFOs recognize this disconnect. A forthcoming CFO survey by Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) found only 10% of finance teams considered fully capable in environmental and social considerations." Thank you Brad Sparks
I'm convinced climate change and sustainability is the most important topic for MBA students. Learn why in my recent op-ed with UCLA's Magali (Maggie) Delmas. https://lnkd.in/ghhqgS-R Katie Kross Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) UCLA Anderson School of Management

A compelling argument for why we need #sustainability in the core MBA curriculum. That's exactly what we're trying to do at ARC -- and Corporate Political Responsibility is an essential component of #sustainabilitystrategy. Also great to see the shout-out to ClimateCAP for helping fill this gap!
