Latest Blog: As my yoga therapy teacher, Molly Lannon Kenny, taught me, “the body is the gateway.” The body is a vehicle we can see, move and manipulate in ways we don’t have access to other parts of ourselves. It is what holds our energy, minds, emotions, thoughts, spirit and consciousness. Everything comes from the body and it is how we experience life. What a gift it is to have a body! https://lnkd.in/erKMzkAg

Discover the power of hip-opening exercises in yoga. ✨ The benefits are immense! I love hip opening sequences so much. They are my favourites. It's like home coming.. I feel so calm with every stretch, surrender and let go. 😇🧘♀️ Below are some more benefits I have experienced..! 1. increased flexibility, 2. improved posture, 3. enhanced balance, 4. Great stress Buster, and 5. making back stronger, with decreased risk of lower back injuries. 📌Don't forget to breathe right as you do these yoga postures.

Children's Yoga Teacher and Trainer for colleges, schools and nurseries. Teens and adults yoga Teacher.
Beautiful morning with Broadstairs College teaching a yoga session. As part of Porchlights young lives matter project I am invited to teach some yoga to the students. I absolutely love the student’s energy in these classes. Asking them what they need is part of my plan and it always amazes me how it is nearly the same answer from each college. Rest & relaxation. Teaching students about the mind and the nervous system is always a great way to connect to what we do in yoga. Always starting with the breath. Offering techniques of how relax the body through a progressive muscle relaxation. Moving through sun salutations to create heat in the body and teach foundational yoga poses. Taking time to rest the body at the end. Finding stillness (which can be tricky for everyone!) to recharge the body and mind. The feedback was great to hear back about how they felt relaxed and had fun. #younglivesmatter
