Typography
- Typography is the style and appearance of your textual content. It includes font families like Times New Roman and Helvetica, and type scale, or the ratio that we use to convey content with different levels of importance. You should be intentional when choosing font families and type scale for your resume, because the way in which we design our content impacts the way a recruiter will read it. If you're using a word processor or a resume builder with templates, the font family will be pre-selected for you. However, if you are using a design tool to build your resume from scratch, you'll have complete control over which font family to choose from, and the type of font family you choose will have an impact on the tone of your resume.
