I'm sure at some point in your life, you have been told to go with the flow. But if you're anything like me, you'd probably be super excited to go with the flow as long as you know when the flow starts and where it's going and what time it'll get there. So to make the process of dealing with difficult behaviors more intuitive, I've created a flow chart to help you chart your path. I've put that in the exercise files. Go ahead and pull it up, and let's go through it step by step. Once you have it up, I want you to think of a time you've thought to yourself, "This person at work is just plain difficult." Keep this example in mind as you work your way through the chart with me. I'll use the example of a coworker who I felt was rude and difficult because he would often interrupt me during meetings.
