The inconvenient truths of working with difficult people

We have all dealt with difficult coworkers. There's the chronic complainer, the office bully, the passive-aggressive type, and at times they can make work feel completely miserable. But here's an inconvenient truth. Difficult people are a workplace reality we can't fully control or avoid. And while we don't always get to decide who we work with, we do have agency over our own selves, and we have power over how we respond to and engage with difficult colleagues. I'm Dr. Emily Anhalt, clinical psychologist and cofounder of Coa, the gym for mental health. In this course, we are going to explore self-reflection questions and techniques to help you better manage difficult behavior and relationships so you can make life at work better.
