I worked with a client once who was the definition of a perfectionist. She managed her anxiety by trying to control every aspect of everything she did. And while she complained that her colleagues were slacking, they complained that she had ridiculous standards that no one could meet. If you've ever worked with someone like this, you know that collaborating with controlling perfectionists or competitive colleagues who disregard teamwork can be really challenging. This is another Level 3 behavior. Some common traits of this behavior are: Needing to monitor and manage everything, even tasks that aren't theirs. Setting unrealistically high expectations for themselves and others. Refusing to collaborate or trust their teammates, or being stubborn and alpha in their approach.
