- [Instructor] The way you format paragraphs in your Word document can also affect readability and create more visual interest. So in this chapter, we're going to explore formatting paragraphs beginning with alignment, and we're going to do it with our RED30 Conference document 0401. If you're catching up, you'll notice here at the top of page one, our title is centered because we used a shortcut to get to the center of our page and type in that title. The remaining paragraphs, as we scroll down through our document, you'll notice that everything is flush on the left margin. If we go to the right side of our paragraphs and look at those edges, you can see a jagged edge. That tells us that the justification or alignment being used is left. But we can make adjustments here. For example, if we wanted to center the other paragraphs here at the top of our page, we can simply apply that formatting from the ruler. Click…
