Methodology overview
- There are many methodologies that a UX researcher may use. Before we talk when and how to conduct research, I'd like to give you a quick rundown of the various research methods. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, I'm providing an overview of the most common types of approaches, with brief examples and additional resources. You might use any combination of these UX research methods to achieve a variety of business goals. I've provided this same list and additional resources in the exercise files if you want to follow along and revisit later. I've also included templates of several documents and deliverable types to help you get started with screening participants, writing research plans, and reporting on the results of your research. These templates may be helpful after the course, when you're beginning to run your own research sessions, but they're not required while you watch. The content is all editable and…
