- Leadership, commitment, and accountability are key in driving DEI initiatives across the organization. But leaders can't get on board if they don't know the strategy and the progress being made. While I was a diversity and inclusion officer, I frequently kept my senior executives and board of directors updated on our DEI efforts. And here are some important tips to keep in mind. You have to ensure that the data you present to your leaders is what makes sense to the business, to their roles, and to improving the workplace culture.
