- Now that you have a foundational understanding of why building technology products with ethics in mind is critical, I recommend you use some of the tools we've discussed like envisioning risk and using a checklist. And remember, change is hard. Taking small steps can really add up to make a difference. Remember the following: One, products actually impact the humans who use them. Think about this before deploying new technology into the world. Two, make sure you have a pathway for ethics in your daily culture and within your organization. And three, don't pass the buck.
