First, it will definitely help if you have experience with a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel. Many of the concepts that you'll find in Tableau carry over to spreadsheets as well. You should also have a willingness to explore. This course is an overview and while I think it will get you started and give you a very strong foundation to work with Tableau professionally, there's a lot more to learn. Also, I'd like to mention the limitations of Tableau Public and the trial versions of the program, which you may be working with. So Tableau Public and trial versions.
