- [Instructor] Businesses often deliver products to customers directly. So minimizing the distance their drivers have to travel can save significant amounts of money every year. In this movie, I will show you how to visualize the number of locations within a given distance from a central point which could be a warehouse, bakery, or other facility. My sample file is 11_03_Distance, and you can find it in the Chapter 11 folder of the Exercise Files collection. In this file, I have created a map and I have zoomed in on a part of the Eastern United States near Washington, D.C., shown here as District of Columbia. So I have multiple customers to which I have sold my products inside of D.C. There's also one over here in Virginia and another up here in Maryland.
