Disable pan and zoom in maps

- [Instructor] Tableau is a powerful data analysis program, and when you visualize data using maps, you can zoom in and out and pan from side to side to view data from many perspectives. If you want to focus on a specific view, Tableau lets you turn off pan and zoom to direct attention to the data you want to emphasize and prevent you or someone else from changing it. I'll demonstrate how to turn off pan and zoom in a workbook. My sample file is 1104 Disable Pan and Zoom, and you can find it in the chapter 11 folder of the Exercise Files collection. First, let me show you what I mean by pan and zoom. Zooming in and out means that you change the magnification of your view. So if I move my mouse pointer over my visualization and I use my scroll wheel to scroll up, you see that I am zooming in, and as I continue to zoom in, the details of the map get larger and I see less and less of the map.
