Define a group for “other” values

- When you analyze your data in Tableau it is often useful to create a group of related items, so that you can compare them to the rest of the data in your set. In this movie, I will show you how to create a group and also how to define a group called "other," which includes every value not included in the group you just created. My sample file is "O-7-O-2 other," and you can find it in the chapter seven folder of the Exercise Files collection. In this workbook, I have sales broken down by region and my goal is to create a group that has every region on the east coast of the United States. And those are Central-East, North-East, and South-East. The first thing I'll do is create the group. So I will click "Central-East," which is the first region I want to include.
