- [Instructor] Analyzing individual sales, such as the largest sales day for a month, provides excellent insights into your business. Another way to visualize your data is to analyze its spread by separating values into bins. For example, you might want to know how many months had less than $1,000 in sales, how many between 1000 and 2000 and so on. In this movie, I will show you how to visualize data in this manner by using histograms. My sample file is 0806 histogram, and you can find it in the Chapter 8 folder of the exercise files collection. I want to analyze sales data which I have listed as order total. So I'll go down to the measures section of the navigation pane on the data tab and I will drag order total onto the data area of the vis. And there I have the sum. Now I can break those values down. So I'll go over to show me the top right corner of the program interface, and then bottom center, I have a histogram.…
