- [Instructor] Large data collections tend to contain a lot of repeated values. If you track orders, then you will see the same products occurring multiple times. One way to analyze your data is to identify the number of orders for products in a specific category, or you can also count the number of distinct items within each category. In this movie, I will show you how to do both things. My sample file is 05_02_Count, and you can find it in the chapter 5 folder of the exercise files collection. In this dataset, my business has 3 product categories, and you can see them here on the Rows shelf and in the Rows area. Let's say that I want to count the number of orders that were placed for products in each of those categories.
