Add and remove map layers

- [Instructor] When you create a map in Tableau, you can change its appearance both by changing the background map and also adding layers of data on top of it. I'll demonstrate how to do that in this movie, and my sample file is 11_02_Layers, and you can find it in the chapter 11 folder of the exercise files collection. I've created a map in Tableau and I'd like to see how changing the background color, the features that are displayed, and also how I display my data will affect the information I get from the map. So I'll start by going up to the map menu and when I click that, the top item is background maps, and here I can select different background shades. So I currently have light, which you can see has a light gray, and then if I click normal, I get a slightly darker gray but I also get bodies of water that are more filled in, so rivers and the Great Lakes here.
