- Being a DevOps engineer means sitting at the exciting intersection of software development and software operations. However, being at that intersection requires interacting with stakeholders across engineering departments, IT, and beyond. To make matters even more exciting, some of those stakeholders may be unfamiliar with DevOps as a concept or reticent to take on new ways of doing things.
