Nested symbols
- [Instructor] We're going to work with nested symbols. At the end of this video, you're going to be able to use symbols that have already been created by me as well as create more complicated symbols that are known as nested symbols, because you have symbols contained within other symbols. To show how we do this, let's create a navigation bar for our app. Let's start with a rectangle, make it 56 pixels by 56 pixels. Take out the fill for now, but leave the border just so you see what the boundaries are. Next, we're going to use a symbol that should already exist. Go to insert symbols, this document, and you can choose any of the symbols that you see. I'm going to place this symbol four pixels from the top and add a bit of text. My text will say home, because this is going to represent the home screen. I'll set the color to black because this is going to represent the selected state of this symbol. Let's also make…
