Manage columns in a view

I'm assuming you already know how to create and use views, but there are a few things I want to show you so that we're on the same page. If I want to rearrange the columns in a view, it's really not hard. Each column has a handle. So if, for example, I wanted company to appear first in my view, I can simply drag to the left and drop it where I would like it to be. Probably after attachments, we usually keep that first. So I can rearrange the items in a view very easily. And we already know how to add columns, but what if I want to show a column that exists but it's not in the view? That's kind of a different sort of an animal. If I click the plus button here, my choice is to create a column. But if I want to show or hide columns, I need to go to the list settings. So if I click "Show or Hide Columns", these are the columns that appear in the view. And that's the fastest way to get here. If I have to go to list settings to do it, I have to then choose a view.
