Create a rule for a list or library

We are in our Wind Installation site and I have opened the West inventory list, and we're going to create a rule for this list. Click on "Automate", choose rules, create a rule. And these are the three types of rules that we can create in SharePoint. And they are all notification rules. One is to notify someone when data in a particular column changes, the second is to notify someone when any new item is added to this list, and the third is to notify someone when any item is deleted from the list. We're going to do a notification when data in a column changes, and so we are going to choose a column. Now this list does not have all of the columns on it. If we have columns that are multiple lines of text, you can't use them for this kind of conditional rule setting. But what we want to know is has the availability changed? So when the availability for any item changes to, and I can say, when it changes it all, let me know. Or when it changes to one of the following values, let me know…
