- [Instructor] Throughout this chapter, we've looked at lots of ways to control the visibility of elements and in the previous video we did some manual modifications to the visibility and we hit a few elements. In this video, I'd like to show you what I consider to be a better alternative. We're going to look at something called Display Filters. Now, Display Filters are somewhere between what we were doing with visibility graphics and what we were doing with element level modifications because they're more parametric like visibility graphics is where visibility graphics applies to the entire category in a view. The filter applies to a collection of objects that meet a certain criteria that you get to establish. So you can say, give me all the objects of a certain size or all the objects of a certain category or all the objects that meet X, Y, and Z. You get to establish what those criteria are.
