- [Instructor] In this video, we're continuing where we left off in the previous one and we're going to take the imported CAD file that represents the contour lines of our site and convert that to a topography element here in the Revit project. So to show you what we're starting with, this item right here is a linked CAD file. Now the first thing is if you're not able to select the linked CAD file, then you want to come up here to the selection dropdown under the Modify tool and make sure that Select links is turned on. If that is turned off, you won't be able to select it. Okay, so this file contains AutoCAD geometry that are just simply poly lines that are set at certain heights. So the easiest way to see this would be to go to the 3D view. And then if we just kind of zoom in on an area here, you could see that there's a lot of line work here that represents those contour lines. And these are set at different heights…
