- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to take a firsthand look at the hierarchy concepts that we discussed in the previous video. So just to remind you of how the hierarchy Revit is organized, we start at the top with categories, categories have broken down into families, families into types, and then finally types have individual instances throughout your model. So what I'm going to do is start off by zooming in a little closer on this floor plan. So let's just right click anywhere on screen and choose zoom in region. And I'll click my first corner of the zoom region in this office 113, drag out a little box about so big and then click again to zoom in on that portion of the plan. Now you'll notice that file is in Imperial units and this is true, whether or not you downloaded the Imperial or the metric exercise files. So that is correct for this video.
