- In this video we're going to adjust the patterns that are applied to our ceiling elements. So, when you first create a ceiling element it tries to center any pattern within the space. In some cases that's appropriate, but in other cases you need to adjust it further based on whatever the design calls for. So, let me show you some examples of when you might do that. So let's start over here, on the right hand side of this plan and I've got this rectangular grid running vertically at the moment, and maybe I want it to run horizontally. Well, it turns out that if you move your mouse around in this space, notice that it highlights the individual grid lines and you can click to select them. So in this case, I'm going to pick the one right down the middle of the room there and then I'm going to go to the rotate tool. So let's click that.
