Enhancing your cursor
- The Windows operating system offers many ways to change your cursor. Oftentimes, it's important for people watching a screencast to be able to follow the cursor so they know where to click themselves. This might mean making the cursor a bit more visible. What you'll want to do is click on over to the Start menu and go to Settings. Then, type in cursor, and you'll see the ability to change the mouse pointer size. The default view here is set to one, and you see my mouse cursor is pretty tiny. I suggest for screencasts going to two or three. This will make it much easier to follow along, but not seem gigantic. If you make this too large, people are going to find it comical, or it'll be difficult to see where you're clicking because it covers up so much. You'll notice that you can go all the way up to here, which just screams, I am a mouse cursor. So I think somewhere around three tends to be a bit better. You'll also…
