- [Instructor] You hear the term mixing and in your head you probably have the image of a DJ wearing headphones, right? Well, let's learn some podcast mixing basics that will help you create an enjoyable listening experience for your audience. Mixing is the process of improving and balancing the different audio in your podcast episode. So the first thing we want to do is improve the quality of our voiceover or solo script track here. And we do that by making sure we're selecting the script track. And you'll see that up here and we want want to add some audio effects to this track to make it sound better. And we can do that by hitting this plus button here. The first one we're going to add is a type of EQ or equalization called the high pass filter. This type of filter prevents mic pops from getting through into our recording or into our playback because it only allows frequencies to pass through above a certain frequency.…
