- [Instructor] This course is teaching you how to create an audio podcast, but did you know that one of the required elements to publish a podcast is actually a visual element? Let's find out how to create podcast cover art for your show. The visual representation that most listeners will see in regards to your show is your podcast artwork or cover art. Apple requires a 1400 by 1400 pixel minimum, up to 3000 by 3000 pixel maximum square JPG or PNG image. You should also try to get the file size as close to 500 kilobytes as possible to help with loading speed. I also recommend having your face on your artwork. The reason for this, most listeners will develop a very intimate relationship with your voice and will quickly build a bond with you. In most podcast apps, listeners will see your art each time they listen. It can be helpful for them to see your face every time they listen. It will increase the bond of trust.…
