- PowerPoint is great in unattended presentations. This is also called Kiosk mode. You may want your presentation to run in the lobby of a hotel, or a conference, or your place of business. It's also good for photo slideshows. To set up your show, make sure you're on the slideshow ribbon tab, and then click Set Up Slide Show. It defaults to being presented in full screen by a speaker, but I'm going to come down here and change it to use timings if present. After that, I'll change the show type to be browsed at a Kiosk. That's going to do a few things. It's going to automatically tell it to loop continuously until you hit the Escape key on your keyboard. It's also going to gray out the Advance slide area. Now, it automatically should check off used timings, if present, but it doesn't always do that, and that's why I had us change it first. I'll click OK, and we're not quite done yet.
