- Morning routines have been pretty in vouge in business circles lately. If you do X, Y, and Z you can win the morning and triumph even before you start your work day. That's overstating it a little bit. But it's true that a lot of people benefit from positive rituals not to mention healthy habits. Here are a few possibilities you can choose from. To start your day on the right note, let's begin with the basics. So, how do most people start their day? With caffeine. But, that can actually be a great ritual. As with all things, you can definitely overdo it with coffee or tea. But if you're consuming them moderately, it can be a great pleasure and a way to start the day by rewarding yourself with a treat. There are a couple of options to keep this in check. For me, because I work from home, I deliberately don't have a coffee machine at home, even though that's cheaper.
