- If you've been prioritizing your most important tasks, great, that's exactly the right thing to do. You don't want to blow a major client presentation because you needed to respond to some tweets. But that doesn't mean the little things don't also have to get done eventually. And when you put them off again and again they can often build up and cause a lot of stress. Here are three ways to get those small annoying tasks done so you can get them off your mind, get back to the important stuff. First, a popular strategy is to batch your minor tasks. It's easy to see this with physical errands. After all, it doesn't make much sense to go out at 10 a.m. because you need copier paper and then at noon because you need presentation folders, and then again at three because you got to get more highlighters.
