The continuous improvement loop

- Part of building a growth mindset is acknowledging the fact there will always be more that you can learn and there will always be ways in which you can develop. So even if you're an expert in what you do. And in fact, especially if you're an expert, it's really important to build continuous development into your working life. I have a really simple technique that you can use and there are three steps. Review, refine, repeat. The first step is review and I recommend taking about 20 minutes a week to sit down and review how your week has gone, what has gone well, what hasn't gone so well. Then you want to refine your approach. So this is thinking about how you take this into the following week coming up. What will you take with you? What will you leave behind? What will you change? What will you do the same? Finally, you repeat this process time and time again. And as time goes on, you will be creating your own continuous development loop.
