So instead of looking like a deer in the headlights or getting super nervous when the interviewer asks you about this, here's how to handle it instead. So I decided to take six months off from my previous role, primarily due to personal circumstances that I needed to prioritize at that time. And it was a really bittersweet decision because I had gained so many incredible skills, especially in ABC areas while in that role. And I knew that I had so much to still contribute to the organization. That said, this career break has given me so much clarity in where I want to go next and has also allowed me to upscale in ABC areas. And that's why I'm really excited about this opportunity because it lines up so well with my own career goals and all of these new skills that I've gained in that time.
