PSA: Cells can format themselves with conditional formatting
- In this section, we're going to be learning about conditional formatting, which works kind of like this. (bell ringing) Let's get excited to track our moods. Here we are going to set up our screen where based on the content of what's in the cell, it will change the color on the cell. And we could do this through conditional formatting. So taking a look here, we have in column A, a list of our days of the week. And then in column B if we click into cell B-2, for example we have a dropdown menu with five different emotion options. And let's say that each time the user clicks the word happy, we want that cell to automatically turn yellow. So we don't want to have to go up to the home ribbon and manually go in and click a shade of yellow to turn that cell yellow. We actually want that to turn yellow automatically. What we can do is set up conditional formatting here. So the first thing I'm going to do is highlight our cells…
