Input messages: The art of leaving notes tastefully
(soft jazzy music) - There are two types of notes out there. There are those that are aggressive, and there are those that are more tasteful. Here, we're going to learn how to do the latter in Excel with input messages. Here, we have our employee order form, and let's say that we want to add in a little note for the recipient of our workbook here so that they know the correct format to input the data into our cell. What we can do here is leave a tasteful note through input messages. So instead of just leaving text off on the side of the workbook, or even writing it in an email, we can set something up. So, that way when the user clicks on the cell, they will see a little input message with extra details about how to work with the workbook. So for our example here, we are going to navigate over to cell B4, and let's add a note here inside of B4 about the format that we want the user to put the office in. So, in order to…
