- [Instructor] At the time of this recording, at the end of 2023, Microsoft is nearly finished rolling out a new version of the Teams application. This applies if you're using the desktop application for Teams that you have installed on your Windows or Mac computer. This does not apply if you use Teams on the website. In the standalone Teams application, you may see a switch near the top left corner where you can switch to and try the new version of the application, or you can turn the switch off to use the old version. Of course, when the new version is completely rolled out, that switch will not be there. So by the time you're watching this course, you may be using the new version and there's just nothing else you need to do.
