Set nonworking days in the project calendar

Forgetting to include nonworking days will create an overly optimistic and inaccurate plan. Update the calendar with your public holidays to ensure that your plan is realistic. To set your nonworking days, that's under the Project tab, Change Working Time. Now, I should point out that I'll be using the standard project calendar, which is the default, and you can either just type in the exception day with the start date or you can scroll the calendar. Now, I should caution you that if you drag this box, it will jump many years at a time and maybe take you where you don't want to go. Let me put in my first nonworking day, which will be New Year's Day, and I've selected January 1 and I can just type in the description for it. Once I press "Enter," notice, it fills in the start and finish. Now, these should be days that everyone on this plan will take off.
