Emissions Impact Dashboard

- [Instructor] The Emission Impact dashboard falls in the green technology domain of the Microsoft Cloud for sustainability solutions. It focuses on carbon reduction in the IT systems themselves. Emissions impact dashboards provide consistent and accurate carbon accounting to quantify an organization carbon footprint associated with using Microsoft Azure and or Microsoft 365. They enable organization to quantify emissions across scopes one, two, and three by using Microsoft's methodology. This methodology helps to quantify the aggregated lifecycle carbon impacts of individual IT asset components across the Microsoft Cloud value chain, and allocates them to specific usage for each Azure service and for Microsoft 365 customers. These emissions can also be accessed via Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability API to build customized dashboards. For more information, see a new approach for carbon emissions. Microsoft Cloud for sustainability provides two Microsoft Power BI dashboards to calculate your organization carbon emissions from your Microsoft Cloud hosted IT infrastructure. Number one, emissions impact dashboard for Azure. Number two, emissions impact dashboard for Microsoft 365. Let's discuss the calculation methodologies used by the emission impact dashboard in the next video.
