- [Instructor] In April 2021, the European Commission adopted a legislative proposal for Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, CSRD. The directive requires companies within its scope to report on environmental, social, and governance matters, using a double-materiality perspective in compliance with European Sustainability Reporting Standards, ESRS. The EU gave its final approval for CSRD to go into full effect in November, 2022. On 31st of July, 2023, the EU Commission adopted the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, ESRS. With CSRD, Purview is extended to support sustainability reporting regulations. You can add and customize the ESRS reporting templates as per your need. We can expect more regulation templates to be added to Microsoft Cloud for sustainability in the future. In this chapter, we discussed compliance reporting and how you can use template reports from Purview Compliance Manager. Next, we will talk about the Emissions Impact Dashboard.
