- Have you been running into issues with your bind server? Stay tuned. We'll show you a few ways to troubleshoot. - You're watching ITProTV. - Welcome back to LPIC-2. We're going to be talking today about troubleshooting DNS. So Don, what are some of the methods we're going to be going over today? - Well, there's a handful of tools that are available for us. You know, BIND is very mature, very stable. So typically it runs just fine, but anytime you get humans involved, we can screw things up pretty well. So we're going to talk about a few of the different ways that BIND can get broken. And then we'll see the tools we can use to be able to figure out how to fix it and get it back online again. All pretty useful skills to have. - So previously we've talked about how BIND is now quite old so most of the bugs should have been worked out by now, but what are some of the things that could still cause it to fail? - Well?…
