From the course: Logic Pro X Essential Training

What you should know

- [Instructor] If you're new to Logic Pro X, this course is the perfect starting place to start creating, writing, and producing. If you're an existing user of Logic Pro X or earlier, you'll find that the latest Logic Pro version 10.7 is similar in all the right ways to all of the Logic Pro 10 point whatever releases. This makes jumping in easy whatever version you start on. Logic Pro updates through version 10.7 and beyond have been expanded with a lot of new features beyond the initial 10.0 release. So I've added and fortified the essentials course over time to cover all the new features. For example, the 10.5 update added so many cool new features we dedicated a whole chapter to it. In the 10.7 release, Logic added the amazing ability to mix in Dolby Atmos spatial audio, so naturally that's reflected in the working with surround and spatial audio with Dolby Atmos chapter. As a result, both beginners and existing users are sure to benefit from this course. We'll talk through many studio setup scenarios and you'll be able to follow along on any Logic Pro X enabled Mac, whether you have a complicated studio setup or just a simple laptop. Be aware though that for some features we explore, you'll have to update your Mac OS and your Logic Pro version to see all the brand-new features I discuss. If you or your computer is not ready to update, no problem. This course is still relevant for all versions and point releases of Logic Pro X.
