Using the many windows of Logic
- [Instructor] Logic's main window, with all of its side window panes, is a useful way to view all of your project parameters from one place. But there's also times when you want to have some editor windows show up as pop-up windows. In this movie, we'll look at how to master the pop-up windows, and even save and recall favorites as screensets. The Window pull down menu provides a quick way to get to the pop-up window of your choice. So if I go up here to Window, I can see a lot of the pop-up windows have quick keys associated with those windows. So for example, I can open up the Mixer pop-up by typing 'Command+2'. And here we get a large view of all of our channels together. Now I've seen a lot of studios where they have two computer monitors and they put this on one monitor and they put the main window on the other monitor. That's kind of a nice way to utilize this pop-up window. You can close any pop-up window by typing 'Command+W'. Some windows, like the Piano Roll Window, depend…
