- [Instructor] Part of your role as the instructor will be to help set the tone for the course and to create the culture. In order to create a culture of learning and engagement, it's important to help students to feel safe and feel comfortable, to help them feel appreciated and to feel challenged. You want to make sure that learners aren't just consuming content in order to regurgitate it for a final exam, but rather they're learning it well enough to be able to apply the knowledge to real-life situations. A great way to accomplish this is to engage learners in the learning process. To do this, consider Bloom's Taxonomy. The steps at the bottom represent lower-level thinking skills, such as remember and understand. These can be assessed through multiple choice questions.
