- [Instructor] Now we're going to talk about additional modulation sources in Sylenth. So, down on the lower right here, we have this Miscellaneous one and two. Now these are identical, and you can see that we have up to four sources and two destinations for each source. And so, in addition to our Mod envelopes and our LFOs, we have all this other routing to make for some really interesting sounds. Now for this one, I have a preset pulled up, and understanding presets are also a really great way to discover how to make sounds on your own. By reverse engineering your preset, you can understand how that preset was made, if you like it, and then apply some of those techniques to your own sound. So, I have this sound here, and you'll notice in our Miscellaneous one, the source is Velocity and you can see if I open this menu up, we have a bunch of different sources to choose from, and then cut off A and B is selected.
