- [Instructor] Let's check our design to make sure all the part information and schematic documentation is correct. Not having the correct part information is one of the biggest mistakes I see when someone works with a design. You will save a lot of engineering hours and money by getting this step done right the first time. In OrCAD Capture, select all the parts in the schematic by hitting Control + A on your keyboard. Then, you can right-click and select Edit Properties. Make sure to select the Parts tab on the lower left. Expand this column on the far left so you can see the part references. And we want to double check that the digi-key part number is correct for every single component, even if they are duplicates of one another. You want to make sure every digi-key part number is absolutely correct. Do the same for any manufacturer part number information so that the manufacturer part number matches the digi-key part number.
