What you should know before starting
- [Instructor] Thanks again for your interest in this course. Before I start into the course material, I'd like to give you an overview of what you should know to get the most out of this course. First, you should know how to gather and organize data effectively. Data is laid out differently for every business, and the better that you're able to work with your own data, the more effective your analysis will be. Also, you should know how to create formulas in Excel, specifically how to use relative and absolute references, that way when you copy formulas, some elements will change and some won't. You should also know how to create charts, specifically an XY scatter chart and also a histogram. Finally, realize that Excel for Microsoft 365 updates regularly. What you see on your screen might be slightly different from what I show on mine, but be assured that everything is in the same place and you will have everything that you need to go ahead.
