My story
- What motivated me to become a captain, true story, I actually answered an ad in the paper. And I was sort of like on this merry-go-round. I really had no direction, was sort of like a lost in my life. And I answered an ad. I went to work for this particular boat, for this particular captain, and he wasn't a great captain. So he inspired me, in the way of, wherever we went, we crashed the boat, and I thought, "I think I can do a better job." And if that's all it took, I knew that I had the drive in me, and I had a brain, and I could learn, so from that moment on, I knew I could become a yacht captain. My story's a big one, and in this course, you will learn how I learned to navigate through life, and how I learned to become the leader I am today.
