From the course: Leading Productive Meetings

Improve group meetings

- Do you feel that attending a meeting is a productive use of your time, or would you rather be anywhere else doing anything else than sitting in one more meeting? Not long ago, I conducted a survey, and over 2/3 of the respondents reported feeling that meetings were a waste of time. Much of this has to do with how often meetings take place and the way they're conducted. Hi, I'm Dave Crenshaw and in decades of consulting and coaching organizations of every size from Fortune 500 companies to freelancers, I've discovered best practices that can help every meeting be more productive. And these changes are simple to make. In this course, we'll cover the six principles of running an effective meeting. We'll also explore how to determine whether a meeting is even necessary, and we'll consider how to keep all attendees engaged and focused on action, whether the meeting is held in person, virtually, or a combination of both. Our goal in this course is to make sure every meeting creates a positive result so they become productive for both you and your team.
